Here is a nice recipe for a light moisturizing hair spray to spritz on. Real easy.

1 spray bottle- medium size

1/2 cup light conditioner, I like the suave naturals line. Lavender is my favorite

4TBS Pure olive oil or vitamin e oil or any mild scented oil of your choice

Water

Place conditoner and oil in the spray bottle
Fill the rest of the bottle up with water. Shake to combine for each use as oil and water do separate.

This is a good combination of hair moisturizer, fragrance, and detangler in one.

I bought my glycerin from Walmart. It was in the skin care section. It comes in a little bottle. In my spray bottle, I put 1 part glyercerin and 1 part water, shake it up, and it's ready for use!

I just bought some of Suave Naturals Lavender Condition today. I am going to try the spray bottle mixture. By the way, I got the conditioner for $1 at the Dollar Tree.

Peace

:?: :?: By the way, do you use tap water or distilled water?

I've used both tap and distilled. A gallon of distilled can be had for under $1 sometimes so it is no extra bother.

In my spray bottle: eo (lavendar--my favorite or rosemary); dollup of light oil--sweet almond; distilled water.

Light and lovely.....!

When do you use this spray mixure? For re-wetting on non-wash days? Or braid and twist-outs?

I think it is for all of the above. I think you can use it everyday but I am a newbie at this so I would like to know too. Thanks.

Nice. Thanks. I might try this after my Sta-Sof-Fro spray runs out.

You can spray your hair daily to refreshen it and add moisture, since the primary ingredient should be water(50% or ^) I spray mine daily...in the morning and before I go to bed.

I keep water, glycerin, eo rosemary and a lil avocado butter. My naps seem to like it.
