Does anyone have thoughts on Naturalaxer? Has anyone used it? There is a link below to the web page.

I've never used it and never will. As I understand it, Naturalaxer is still a relaxer and still has harsh chemicals as ingrediants.

I feel you! When I hear of relaxer and natural in the same sentence it makes me think of Rio. Remember the infomerical? They were saying that it was so natural that you could eat it. Rio cause a'lot of hair and scalp damage; people actually went bald from that stuff.

I have tried it and it does what it says, it does straightens the hair, now whether or not it does that without breaking the natural curl in your hair, I'm highly suspect of. But I won't use it again because it felt and smelled like any other relaxer I've used, that includes burning and hurrying to rinse it out.
And after doing research on it even though the relaxer is more on the akaline side, and should be "safer", like Nubiyan said, it still contains harsh chemicals. Now with that being said I still use the thermal oil that came with the naturalaxer kit when I blow dry my hair, it really helps to smooth out my new growth, but unfortunately they don't sell it separately.
If your looking for something to just tame your new growth while your transitioning you may want to try African Wonders Hair Reformer - (Curl Relaxer Balm) or Biosilk Silk Strate

I tried this, it really didn't seem to do much to my hair at all but make it frizzier than it already was. It didn't relax the curl much at all and it reverted as soon as humidity set in. I threw that stuff in the garbage, it is a waste of money. I agree that it smelled like a regular lye/no-lye relaxer and that it still has chemicals of some sort in it. I would not recommend it to anyone, you're better off pressing your hair with a warm comb, it's cheaper and chemical free!!

It absolutely is a relaxer, no if and or buts about it. i have never tried it, but this topic has been covered many times on the old forum and it works just like a relaxer/texturizer.
sodium hydroxide(lye)=alkaline
calcium hydroxide(no lye formula)=alkaline
potassium hydroxide(texturizer)=alkaline
Do you see where I am going with this? She may not use lye in her formula but, whatever "alkaline" she is using is no different from the alkaline used in chemical perms, relaxers, texturizers, different name but same effect.

Naturalaxer? Ain't nothing natural about a relaxer. Sounds like another name for a texturizer.

My whole thing is I came out of a relaxer for a reason. I wanted to learn to love my nappy, kinky, highly textured hair. If I had intentions to straighten it again, I would have stayed with the chemicals. I teach. I tell my students that I decided that I no longer wanted to change anything about me. God created me and there are no mistakes about it. I have not reached the point that I am always happy with my hair. I have at least gotten on the path. That journey continues.....

Now that I have read post from those of you who have tried it, I agree it does very much sound like a texturizer.

I tried it in my relaxed days. I was hoping to get that wash and wear hair. The only thing I got was hard, frizzy hair. I hated it. I was so mad I wasted my money. I don't think it smelled as bad as a relaxer, but it doesn't matter, it's still some nasty stuff. I'm so glad napptural.
