Default Scab hair or natural hair texture?

4 months natural without the BC but I still can't tell whether I'm in the scab hair phase or the natural process phase? I'm going post pictures if anyone could tell me their conclusion I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I think it's really hard to tell from the photo. There looks to be either heat straightened or relaxed hair attached to new growth and with all the hair pulled into a tight pony, it makes answering your question extremely difficult. Or it could all be your natural texture, just can't determine from the pix.

Do you have any other photos?

BTW, I am in the scab hair believer camp and am pretty sure I experienced it.

You cant tell until u BC. After my BC i had to randomly snip straight ends. Even after cutting out all of the relaxer my natural ends felt ROUGH. I cut off a half inch in 2010. That was my last trim. My ends have NEVER returned to feeling that way since.

When I BC in 04, I dealt with scab hair for up to 12 months. It took a while for my hair to relax and understand that it was ok to curl up again, the drama/trauma was over. I just continued to snip it away.
