I've seen my own nephew dance like that while eating chicken... That bird brings the beast out of some people, lol.

But to reference the topic: Today I came to realize that I don't have to spend 2 days washing, drying, and styling my hair, only to take it down a week later or else I wouldn't be able to comb it out.

(Letting off a little ol' frustration, but I'm so happy and in love with my locs.)

I don't know what phases my loc roots go through but today, right now, they're back to kinky crinkly. I've missed that.

Love digging my fingertips into my scalp and feeling the kinks and coils of my natural hair. Silky smooth is ok but I prefer my naps.

... after freefroming since March (yeah, I keep going back to latching...) that I'm starting to see some budding action at my hair line.

... I also need to wash my hair. My scalp is itchy.
