Default Am i the only one?? I bet i am!! Not!!

    HEY NAPTURALS!!

I have been addicted to youtube and natural hair videos for quite a while now ( about three years ) and I have yet to see another member of the Deaf/HardofHearing Community doing natural hair videos. I know there are a million of us naturals on youtube so it is very much a possibility that I have just missed my other hearing impaired sistas. Anybody know of any??

I just started my own channel. Although a hair tutorial IN SIGN LANGUAGE was a challenge, I worked it out.... ummm... sorta. LOL! Ok... it looked like someones first video! Now I have two videos up and I was hoping to get some tips from any D/HH sistas either on youtube or even here!! You never know!! WE ARE EVERYWHERE!!! LOL!!

What's your channel? Post a link and I'll help spread it. Also, make sure you contact the popular blogs (CurlyNikki "nem")...

Hi, Lavadava. Nice to meet you. I'm fluent in ASL (signing for 6 years, now) and i'm constantly looking at sign language videos on YouTube. You're right, i've yet to see one about natural hair, though. I think your vlog will be most welcomed.

Thank you for continuing to produce content. Is there some way that your videos can be tagged to be acknowledged for such accessibility? It seems that your most recent video isn't tagged at all (if others perhaps were). When I search for content and add ASL before or after, the results are very promising. It (tagging your videos with ASL, at least) might keep your videos in the mix if people are looking specifically.

ETA: YouTube updated the user interface fairly recently and it just dawned on me that I can't see any tags now. So, yeah.

If your import amid discussion is to ridicule, sabotage, and/or dismiss, you will no longer receive the privilege of my attention. Passive aggressive behaviors are a defense mechanism of oppressed and ultimately even self-defeated persons. Disregarding and/or ridiculing the concerns of others doesn't legitimize or address your own. You have betrayed a critical trust I must have in you that you are engaging or asking of me to enhance each of our perspectives rather than ridicule mine or reaffirm your own biases. Express your own concerns and/or support your own ideals. Your antics reek of repression and aren't constructive.

Haven't looked at her vids in a while, though.
