Do you use it for twists, or do you just use it on your hair as a moisturizer for loose styles?

my routine is to wash, condition and then put my hair into large twists at night. in the morning, i fingercomb them out in the shower and wear either a puff or a chunky 'fro. i don't wash everyday, and the moisture seems to last. also, when i wake up, the twists i've put in the night before look very shiny and healthy (as does the hair when i take them out).

I was wondering if burnt sugar pomade would be good for transitioners? Isn't pomade used to put moisture back into the hair? What would I use it for if I tried it?

So do any ladies with locks use it like a twist butter or just smooth it over the locks for sheen? It's funny I buy something then don't even know what I am going to do with it

I have two jars of this and I won't be finishing either of them  I like the way my hair felt but the smell lingered for a long while after I used it. I don't like the smell so when I get off my lazy **** I will be putting them up on the swap board.

Oh no, I just ordered some. I'm sensitive to scents so I hope it isn't too strong for me.

What does it smell like? Is it as strong as the whipped pudding? That smell ended up giving me a headache unfortunately and the smell did linger in my hair.

Luv Jones basically said what I was thinking. At first I thought the smell was okay. But it's almost too much for me now. In my personal opinion, I think it is stronger then the whipped pudding. However, know that the smells are different. And yes, the Burnt Pomade smell will linger in your hair.

I did not care for the smell either. I dont care for an over powering sweet smell. It smells like burnt sugar or honey. It is much stronger than the whipped pudding. I tried to tone it down with some patchouli and mandarin oil but it did not work for me. I love the way it makes my hair feel but could not live with the smell.
