My crinkled locks look great. I hope I have a great Monday as well. I haven't oiled my scalp yet.

Scalp itchies are really annoying me. My scalp was doing great for the first few weeks. Now it hates me!

I'm still using the Trader Joes Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo and oiling with a mix of olive oil, tea tree oil, and argan oil. I last did that two days ago and my scalp has been itchy and flaky since that day. I know I rinsed all the shampoo out, so I can't understand why things aren't working now.

Retwist and some repairs yesterday. Don't know why the heck the hair along my hairline is getting straighter and softer as I get older <smh> I want height and lift but all I have is flat

Black hair is so cool. I'd been a loose natural for a while, but this locking process is fascinating. I mean... the idea that my hair is morphing into beautiful locs is on a whole nother level. So happy with my hair and that I started this.

I didn't want to wash yet, so I did a scalp massage last night with my oil mixture. I guess I just didn't add enough oil on wash day, because my scalp is not itchy today. Problem solved... for now lol

So excited about tomorrow night! Braids are coming down and locs are being installed! I hope I can finish by Monday and i hope they turn out alright. Patience is key!

I'm glad you got the issue solved. I'm still having scalp itchies when I use it. Lavender oil on my scalp settles it down but I might start using something else and give the Tea Tree Tingle to a friend. I'll see how it goes in this weekend's wash

Let me know how it goes. I hate that I still have to shampoo weekly with the Tea Tree Tingle shampoo or I get really itchy and flaky. Whatever my stylist used kept my scalp calm for 2 weeks. I wish I knew what it was.
