Requirements for entrants: HAIR - Your hair must be cut or formed into a traditional, rounded afro.
- The more spherical the afro, the better your chances of selection.
- Obviously, no hair extensions or weave allowed!
Requirements for entrants: PHOTOGRAPHS - Do not upload pictures of your hair in any style other than an AFRO or your entry will be deleted
- You must be a registered member of Nappturality.com to be able to view or upload photos and enter the competition. If you are unable to register for any reason, please contact email admin(at)nappturality.com for alternatives
- You must provide Nappturality.com with your real name and contact information when requested.
- The texture must support the style, not a bunch of hairspryay, gel or any other stiffening agents.
- 4 photos ONLY are to be uploaded to Nappturality website: one photo taken from the front, one from the side, one from the back and one of your choice.
- Additional photos may be requested from some entrants, to be emailed directly to the judges, with the hair styled differently, in order to verify the hair's length.
- Finalists will be contacted by Guinness World Records to schedule a professional photo shoot with the Guinness World Records photographer to determine the winner.
- All photographs submitted become the property of organizers Nappturality.com and Guinness World Records and may be used by the organizers for promotional materials now or in future without fee.
