Hi everybody! Im new to this blog but not new to the natural hair. I had my Big Chop in September 2011. Everyone who knows me thinks Im crazy due to my hair history. Here's my story. I was natural for six years (since 2003). In Oct. 2009, i got married and permed my hair. Those two years were the worst experience ever. I was so used to natural hair I was lost trying to take care of relaxed hair. So after crying and complaining about my hair I decided to go back natural. The first time I transitioned, this time I chopped. I loved it so much I chopped again. So from September 2011 until the end of October 2011 I continue to chop. By the beginning of November 2011 I decided to let it grow out. I’m one month strong! My hair is at a really awkward stage I want to chop it again…lol I am not going to cut it again though. My goal is shoulder length. If it gets longer than that so be it but I am ok with the shoulder length. I don’t care so much for straight my best was when it was curly. So this is the beginning of my new journey I like to call “Back to Nap”!
