So I made the decision today, the day before my birthday, to begin transitioning into natural hair. There's so much information to sort through. I'm starting to really see that taking care of my hair will be completely different than how I took care of my processed hair.

 I'll have to go to the store tomorrow to pick up a few things to get this started out right. So far I know I'll be doing the co-wash method, and to start looking for some deep conditioner. I'll also pick up some oil, maybe coconut.

 The first thing I did was cancel my hair appointment, my mom sounded confused over the phone, but I'm sure about this. I've wanted to do this for the longest time, just making the decision not to go back to the salon already made me feel like I'm doing the right thing.
