I just moved into an apt where the former tenants had wall to wall carpet in the bathroom. Now the carpet is up, there's a film of yellow glue on some of the tiles. I've used some adhesive remover but no dice ... it's still not coming up. The tiles are fabulous and I want to refurbish them, but the adhesive remover I used is not making a dent in that film.

Any suggestions anyone? Scrills .... you got any ideas lady?

What adhesive remover did you use? Goo-gone?

Try WD-40.

No, I used some other industrial remover than the guys in my maintenance department at work swear by ... that so didn't do the job. <_<

I'll try goo-gone or the WD-40 (thanks Anawbi). I didn't think of WD ... but I'll try test patches with both options and let you guys know how they work.

Thanks so much.

I swear NP has everything on it that I need help with. I just moved into my house two weeks ago and have glue stains in two of my bathrooms. Whadaya know, I happen to have some goo gone under my sink. I am going to use it and see what happens.
