So I am not allowed to create a new post in certain forums so I will start one here since I am transitioning too!

I saw an infomercial for the Instyler and was wondering if anyone has used one? It looks like it could work but probably not so much on a natural head? I dont know...thoughts anyone???

I saw an infomercial for this a month ago and thought it looked like it could work and then never saw it again then I saw the other day and thought could this work now? But I am pretty sure it may not since it has brushes on it and brushing my hair is a no no. Here is the website listed below:

My sister really wants to try it, she relaxes her hair and it probably would work for her. I just wanted to see if there were any Nappys that had used it or know of any women of color that had tried the product. They did have Kimberly Locke on the infomercial but her hair is....not like mine!

Hi,

It's a styling device that uses heat. Since you're relatively new AshleyMichelle, I will assume that you are not aware that the discussion of using direct heat to style natural hair is not allowed here at NP. You may want to refer to The flaming hot tool of hair torture & Blow Dry Archive (http://www.nappturality.com/forum/index.php?showforum=53) to see why.

This thread will probably be closed by a mod soon.
