Aerogarden Anyone?

Hi,

Is anyone growing their own vegetables using an AeroGarden? It sounds like a good idea for having salad greens, tomatoes and peppers.

I've seen one of those in the mall; but I don't think it beats tending soil-grown vegetables & herbs, that's just my humble opinion. I don't own one though.

I live in a NY apartment. We don't have soil. LOL. I just thought that since I don't have any outdoor space, I could at least grow lettuce and tomatoes so I save money on making salads. I'm trying to clean up my diet.

i thought about getting one, but I don't know if I'd have the time to maintain it. I thought of buying it to plant the strawberry garden.
