Ok, So I'm moving into a new apartment, all by myself... NO MORE ROOMMATE!!!!! :D

Problem: No money to decorate... :(

However, I have found a few things I would like to try to do myself...

Wall Art (http://www.michaels.com/art/online/projectsheet?pid=e06201)

For the Bathroom (http://www.michaels.com/art/online/projectsheet?pid=e06227&categoryid=94982)

I was wondering if anyone knows of DIY websites that would help me find projects to do for the low low...

It just so happens that I'm redecorating to, I have a few pics of my progress on my blog. For ideas on what to do, I'll recommend two links I recommended in my blog:

Apartment Therapy (http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/): Dedicated to appt and condo living. You could find ideas ou could use.

NY Time 300$ challenge (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/12/garden/12m-intro.html?_r=1&ref=garden): 5 designers are challenged to remake a room for less then 300$.

This last link is good because they mostly reuse what the owners already have and create great spaces that they fill in. If you have no money, I would start with paring things down to what you really need. Then make a plan for the style you want and slowly work on it as you get some money and pick up the bits and pieces yo you need to accomplish your look. For example if you want to have your place to have an ethnic, African style for example, you could find a kente style fabric, or a mudcloth, let's say for cushions, pull your wall colours from it, find coordinating drapes. You'd also need wooden vases and urns, masks, coordinating tchokes etc. This is just an example. If you're not going for a particular style you could still decide what your starting point would be ie a a colour, fabric, any item you like, and decorate around it.

Good luck!
