View Full Version : Sisterlock/microlock Consultants In London Uk

08-15-2009, 11:14 AM

I am planning to get my hair sisterlocked in the next couple of months and am looking for a consultant/trainee in the London or surrounding area. I have found two or three possibilities online but nothing beats a personal recommendation. This is a very big commitment for me and I would really appreciate hearing about your experiences (both the good & not so good) to help me make the best possible choice for me.

I would also appreciate any tips or advice about the things I should ask/look out for to help me select someone who I will be happy with.

Still looking for my consultant :( but in the meantime I found a great little blog that details natural hair salons in the london area that might be useful to others. http://www.freewebs.com/manashantii/ukusahairsalons.htm

Thank you manashantii

Hi Sister-Interlocutor, I'm just about to start my sisterlock journey (well I plan to lock in October once my current kinky twists grow out). I have also contacted Carol at http://www.tassahai.co.uk/ based in Sydenham. She was very friendly and explained her services over the phone. The only thing she memtioned was that she is no longer a sisterlock consultant but specialised in fine locks. I'm still researching but am happy to find out that the first person on my list is pretty good as you are going to her too.

Good luck with your journey, I hope to see pictures if you put them online :o)
