this is an attempt to remedy an accidental triple-post that happened when the board was acting up. instead of having three blemish butter recipes, i decided to wrack my brain for a couple of other topics, since i can't delete the original posts.

my favorite single ingredient, i think, is olive oil. i slide a little bit into almost every butter or oil mixture i make, and i LOVE it as a hot oil treatment when infused with herbs, and solo an after-shower body moisturizer.

what's your favorite single item? what do you use as an ingredient, but also love to rock on its own?

(p.s. yeah i almost said honey )

I have to say shea butter, I use it for everything, I use it as a styling product, leave-in, for my skin, I love the stuff.

Ditto on the shea. I love it. You can melt it down as a hot oil, use it by itself hard or mix it up with other ingredients. It is a three in one product and the only leave in I need. :D

I have MORE than 1 :D

EO- rosemary, I put this in allll my stuff
solid oil- coconut, SAA I also love shea butter :)
liquid oil- jojoba, castor

I tend to shy away from olive oil b/c of the smell :?

It's time for me to make more hm-CDHHB :D

Honeychild, I think I'm gonna make your honey milk, if I can find the recipe again :?

I experimented w/borax and was NOT happy w/the results :( One part of the batch was ok, but the other part had a funny smell and I didn't document very well so I don't remember which part of the reciped I liked :(

I've got 3:

Water

Shea butter

Sandlewood EO

I love both water and shea on there own. The sandlewood is some sort of sensory addiction for me I can not get enough of it.

i have to name 2...because they rock equally

* tea tree oil (cleared my psoriasis up...and the patches of exzema on my nose and cheeks)

* peppermint (makes my scalp feel all good and tingly....good for de-toxing when i have a cold or sinus infection.)
