I'm still holding on, just got a retwist. Of course they still feel waaay tiny to me, btu I Think that my hair density is playing alot with that. Don't know what the future holds but I'm still here.

btw does anyone use chat here, or any other chat programs, would like to talk to fellow loc'ers sometime.

How long have you had them? They don't look like they've budded so they will most likely thicken up. If not, you can always combine.

I do chat, but not on aol. :(

yeah, that's what everyone says. Its been about a year now. Once I pulled them out completely and started again. Seems to be taking forever to BUD. Do different hair types take abnormally long to bud? Check out the link for my full album and see.

If it's only since the time you restarted, you really aren't a year yet. Or has it been a year already since you restarted?

everyone's hair matures/dreads/buds at different times. no two heads are alike.

i always tell people not to compare their head to someone else's. many things affect it (heredity, diet, hair type, etc)

i have been a dread for over 2 yrs now and i promise you i skipped the bud stage altogether lol i always wanted to experience the cute sticking up/all over the head stage but i never did. even looking back through my album i didn't see it.

all that to say...your hair is fine!

So I've been retwisted since June 27th. That was the day that I took out the locs that had started and redid them.

So the question now, when I go to et my hair down each time, with them still being baby locs, should they be twisting the entire loc from the root to the edge? From reading I think the answer is NO, this is what is creating the very small look and what is keeping me from seeing buds as the whole loc is just super skinny.

If I continue with skinny locs that are palm rolled/twisted from the root to the edge, then wouldn't my hair eventually LOC that same size?
