It's your hair. You can use whatever you like. Did you read the ingredient list? Is there anything in it that you think is harmful?

Your hair and scalp will let you know if something is harmful.

It shouldn't be....I used to use African Royale Hot Six Oil until the Wal-Meezy out here decided to quit carrying it... :-| It was thee bomb! It smelled yummy and the oil was supposed to be good for six things; hence the name Hot Six Oil:

1. Hot oil
2. Hair oil
3. Body oil
4. Scalp oil
5. Bath oil
6. Nail oil

Anyways... Mineral oil has been considered a "No no" for a long time because it's derived from petroleum and has been said to be heavy, drying and all together bad for locs. So I guess if it doesn't have any of that in it--you should be "A, OK"!

YES,
I must sign in with GL
pay attention to the ingredients.
Parabens are linked to cancer(used as a preservative)
and alcohols are sometimes in the massage oils. If it's just a carrier oil mixture, you should be good!
