Thought I would post this for those who are interested in getting DNA testing to find out about their ancestoral backgrounds. If you have ever seen the Dr. Henry Louis Gates PBS series "African American Lives" then you may have seen something like what is being offered here.

It's not free, though it might be something you may consider.

No not yet. I've been wanting to since I saw African American Lives. It would be very interesting to find out what my biological ancestery could be.

It's too bad that I need a male family member to do this - there's only one paternal relative that I keep in touch with that would do this. Maybe it's time I sent a message...

I have been watching Dr. Gates programs several times. So interesting. I want to do the genetic testing for both sides..Mother and Father...only thing stopping me is..yep the cost. Alright no more procrastinating! I will set a time goal to have this done.
My daughter wants to also test on her Dad's side.
