Hi,
Im brand new to all this. I cut my hair into a TWA about 2 months ago. Did it (with the help of a friend) at home. Its about 2 inches long at this point..and a bit uneven.
I called up a woman recommended on this site to find out the price for just getting it shaped and evened out a bit.
For the shape, a wash and condition she quoted me $55. She works from home, not a salon, and this seemed like a bit much for what I was asking for.

Is that price reasonable? I was thinking it would be about $30 at the most.. was that completely unrealistic?

Thanks!

YES! That is ridiculous! Wash and condition your hair at home, then go to a barber and let them shape you for $10 - $15.

DITTO!!!! Cause they're trying to get gas money out of you, not a value meal...

$55.00:(o) when a barber will do it for $12.00-$20.00 tip included:-)) I think you should talk to a couple of more people.

I agree with the other ladies. Go to a barber and use the extra money to invest in some good products you can use to wash and condition your own hair (multiple times!) at home.

$55 Is ridiculous. $30 Seem accurate for a salon visit ($20 cut, $10 wash), less if home visit. I wonder if a barber can cut for $15 and you wash your own hair.
