Water and any oils that you'd like. I use 100% coconut oil, castor oil and/or extra virgin olive oil (evoo). If I happen to use them all at once, which it rare, I only use 1 or 2 drops of each. Of course if you're adding essential oils (eo), then a drop will do you. Fill your spritz bottle with water or fill it half way, depending on the size of your bottle, and spritz as needed.

I tried oil/h20 spritzes and those didn't work for me at all. Recently I tried Infusium 23...woo...I don't buy into "miracle" products, but that thing works! For me at least. My locs are soft and not dry feeling, I've been using it for a couple weeks now with great results. I have hair that is normally extra extra dry and rough feeling. Now it's cottony soft and not looking like a parched desert!

Hi, First you can do a Hot oil treatment, weekly, bi-monthly or monthly. Use extra vrigin olive oil and maybe aid some EO. Then as needed make a spritz that contains some carrier oils such as evoo, sweet almond oil etc...I use EVOO--omega mix, because my hair tends to also be dry

Non-sulfate shampoo. When I use it, I don't feel the need to oil my hair all the time. I got one from vitacost.com.

For the past 2 weeks I've been spritzing daily with a mix made of fresh rosemary boiled for a bit in water with some dried sage, horsetail and rosebuds.

The best mix I've ever made for when my locs were dry was a spritz bottle of distilled water, aloe vera juice, coconut oil, a little honey, and a few drops EO's of lavender and ylang ylang. My locs loved it and I carried a little small spritz bottle of it in my purse. :)

I spritz my hair with aloe vera juice and distilled water mix 'til damp, then rub on a small amount of Africa's Best Ultimate Oil. My hair always dries soft.

I don't know how long your Locs are but try Sprtizing them lightly with a water/conditioner mix or a moisturizing mix and baggying them several time throughout the week. This was an effective way of decreasing the dryness of my hair back when I was hooked on CFC, and I have very dry hair.

Everything they said. I have a youtube video on moisture and locs here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj6Wj176q1g) But also don't forget to look at your water quality. Even if your water isn't hard it is full of chlorine most likely. I saw a huge difference when I bought my shower filter.

I have the same problem especially after adding color to my locs. I spritz daily with water, rosemary, and peppermint oil. I even made my own concoction which has jojoba, sweet almond oil, and peppermint oil. I just ordered some Jamaican Black Castor oil. I heard that is good for moisture, I am waiting for it to arrive. I tried regular castor oil but it was too thick.
