oh man nappturality, I did the big chop! it was only 4 inches of scraggly ends, & the rest was already a twa! It wasn't too bad, but i let my hair air dry w/out combing & it was sucha pain the next day! how can i avoid this in the future?

Congrats! Don't have much advice because i'm newly natural myself but you definitely need to detangle and moisturize.

When you let it air dry, did you have any products on it? And did you detangle while you were washing?

Muzikal203-no i didn't put anything on my hair, and i didn't detangle while i washed it. :(

Next time, detangle with conditioner when you wash, and then after that put some Leave in and an oil on your hair (in that order) to seal in moisture. You can't really get away with putting NOTHING On your hair right now because you just BC'd and your hair is already going to be inclined to be very dry.
