This is my 3rd set of locs
Starting from freeforming
Any suggestions on keeping them from being dry?
Does aloe help?

I just get mine wet in the shower most mornings.

water, oil , conditioner. I got my hair wet almost every day when I first started freeforming.

Yep what the others have said. Basically water to wet, and oil to seal.

Thanks all...any certain type of oil?

& can aloe vera help also?

Aloe can definitely help. As for the oils there are a plethora to choose from:

Extra virgin olive oil
Castor oil
Jamaican black castor oil
Coconut oil
Jojoba oil
Sesame seed oil
sunflower oil
etc., etc.

Water makes my hair even dryer sometimes. I just oil it up in the mornings.

is theres a certain aloe vera brand to use?, having a hard time finding 100% aloe products...

...water THEN seal them babies with some jojoba oil! oOh yeah ;)

water, water, water then seal with oil if u must.
