Someone help me please!
My locs are almost 7 months and they're really D R Y. I was looking at conditioners and stuff the other day and I need a bit of guidance. I was looking at Hello Hydration conditioner by herbal essence, the conditioners by Organix, and the cantu Shea butter thing. Has anyone used these to moisturize their locs? If so, does it work? Does anyone have any alternatives?
Please help I just wanna moisturize my locs! :'(

Welcome to the site, have you gone through this section to see if any of the previous posts on dry locs can help you?

I simply rinse my hair with herbal teas(rosemary, hibiscus, sage, peppermint...whatever i want at the time) or aloe vera juice spritzes and my hair is soft enough. no greasy products or creamy conditioners. you have to be careful with those and locks-build up is a monster that is unleashed usually 3-4 years after use.

This. Rosemary rinse & throw on the shower cap to let it marinate (aka deep condition).

I use just a dollop worth of essential oils e.g., almond, olive, jojoba, or clove and mix it with water after a good shampoo my hair stays pretty hyrdrated, no crispy locks here!

When all else fails, i dampen my locks and use a little olive oil.

I love coconut oil. Also i am in love with KNP512's Homemade Olive Oil Conditioner on YT. Here is the recipe:

1/4 cup EVOO
1/4 cup AVG (dietary type)
2 tbs. Vegetable Glycerin
1 tbs. Honey
4 cups Water (distilled for leave-in)
20-30 drops Tea Tree Oil
& Favorite EO

My locs are very soft and moisturized. A staple. :)

I've been using this oil I found on etsy by keravada to moisturize my baby locs and so far it's working really well. I really liked using the ayurvedic powders on my hair before I transitioned to loc'ing
