Hi everyone!

I've been natural for the majority of my life, and I've been itching to get dreadlocks! I'm not quite ready to part ways with my loose curls, so I'll be doing a good amount of research an locs and whatnot. :)

Have fun doing your research. There are so many different methods to start locks. Find what works for you. I've been locked pretty much since 1998 and I'll be locked until I'm elderly. Locks just work for me.

Yeah, research so you have an idea of what to expect, what to do, or not do on the lock journey. Every journey begins with a single step. You have already taken that first step by doing your research....

Hi :)

I've been natural since June 2002, I've been thinking about getting locs since 2008 and I am finally doing my braidlocs install. I'm super excited and can't wait to finish them :)

Good luck with your research!

Have you decided if you're locking yet?

you can use some hair tools and turn it into curly hair:)

Hi!

I definitely recommend locing your hair! I am starting mine with two strand twists. I plan to do everything myself, so I'm super excited for the journey. Since my hair is in twists, I still have curls; they're just in bigger sections if that makes sense.

How do you plan to start your locs?
