Hot Oil Treatments

I'm 6 months into my loc'ing journey ( :-) ) and I was thinking about doing a hot oil treatment. Would that be wise? Lately, my scalp has been really dry and I thought a hot oil treatment would help. Are there any other fellow loc'ers that do hot oil treatments and if not, what do you use to rid yourself of dry scalp?

I don't see why you couldn't do a hot oil treatment. There should not be any negative results. It should help with the dry scalp. Use an ACV rinse, it also helps the dry scalp situation.
