Hey ladies, I know that many of us are concerned with health right now. And not even just a preoccupation with weight loss, but a complete overall good grade of health. I consulted a dietician in my area who recommended the following site to me:

Brain Garden (http://www.pulseparty.com/133905)

Take a looksie! :) I am ready to go veg/organic, so I believe that these products can definitely help! I haven't tried any of the products except for the Pulse Bars, and they are pretty good. What's even better is that they have 24 whole food ingredients! Yes, 24! (all of their food products, not just the bars) This site has fruit, soups, salsas, salad dressings, and a host of other things AND they have many, many recipes divided into the following groups: High Protein, High Energy, Vegetarian, Low Fat, and (other).

Depending upon what you may be interested in ordering, you may want to "go half" with another member on the site, as some prices are a little steep. It makes perfect sense to me that we stop killing ourselves with all these chemicals and preservatives. Just wanted to share!

Also, if anyone needs a good diabetic cookbook, check out The New Diabetic Cookbook (5th edition) by Mabel Cavaini. You can get it for a pretty good price on amazon/half.com. Really, it's low salt, low sugar, low fat, low cholesterol, and high fiber! (a diet recommended by my physician, so the recipes fit quite well)

Furthermore. :D for a few good vegetarian/vegan diets, you may want to check out a little info on the following page:

Vegetarian/Vegan Diets (http://www.fatfree.com/diets.html)

My dietician recommended Dean Ornish's veg diet. I may look into it soon. Anyhow, good luck to everyone on your lifelong journey to a healthier YOU! If you'd like, you can take a visit to my RD's website:

Sandy Couvillon, RD (http://www.nutritionsandy.com)

She is the author of a couple of books and provides some very useful information on her site as well. (take a look in the archives)

Also, I will be posting other helpful information that was provided to me by her very soon. So, keep an eye open for the health/wellness information. And, in case you didn't see the link posted for the free subscription to Organic Style magazine, please do a search for it in the forum. It actually works, 'cause I've gotten 3 issues already, and I LOVE the magazine!

Peace & Love
