We had a good time, talking and laughing getting into good conversation with one another. This is the second event, but none of us attented. We hope to have another one soon. Tampa will probably have theirs again before we have ours, and we're looking forward to joing them.

Hi everyone my name is Melinda and I just did the Big Chop this past Monday. Going natural is something I have been wanting to do for a long time. I have tried a few times before but I always went back to a relaxer. This time around I have the dedication and desire to stay natural. I had planned to let my hair grow out until the end of August and then cut the relaxer off, but this was something I had to do now. Due to me not having a lot of new growth all of my hair had to be cut off and I ended up with an extremely low hair cut. It was a bit of a shock when I first saw it, but the shock was replaced with excitement and relief. I am interested in attending the next event that you have planned. Please let me know when the next event is being held. Also, I would like to get some information on the event being held in Tampa in August. :afro:
