Senate Votes Trillions in Reparations for Slavery, to be Distributed to Black NFL Players

WASHINGTON. DC — "It’s official," announced the head of the Congressional Reparational Funding to African Americans, Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut. “We are going with the trillion dollar figure and will be dividing that by three hundred so that will be 1 billion 333 million per black National Football League player.”

Asked about the remaining 39 million African Americans who also had ancestors victimized by slavery, Lieberman was clear. “Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and sometimes you choose between the two, wondering if you haven’t made it?”

Paul Tagliabu, NFL Commissioner, also announced he would be changing the names of football stadiums to Reparation Plantations, numbered 1-30. “You see we wanted to simulate the pre-Civil War days for effect. The only exception will be the Cotton Bowl. We’ll keep that name. Fans will be encouraged to root their teams on with chants like ‘Tote that barge, lift that bail.’ Games will begin with the singing of Old Man River.”

Players will still be under the supervision of white people who will continue to be known as “Owners.”

“Not much difference than today on that one,” said Miami Dolphin Owner, Wayne Huizinga.
