Hi, ladies! I have been to the dollar stores today and I found some great deals, namely, ABBA Trumint for $1? Anywho, I came across a lavender scented oil for $2. I asked the cashier if this was an essential oil or just something that smells good. He was unable to give me an answer and the label had no description on what type of oil it was.

Is this the same lavender that can be added to our homemade products?

Here's some info on the product's label:

Body Relax
Scent Oil Lavender
Warning: Not for internal use. Keep out of the reach of children
Made by: Amplic International
That is the extent of the product info.

More than likely it's not a pure essential oil <_<
It prob. has it in there in a certain %, but the majority is prob.
another inexpensive oil or mix of oils.
But for a buck- not too bad.

I guess my question is, should I add it to my spritz or not?

Well, it's prob. safe to use externally.
Sounds like it has lavender scent, so if that's what you're looking for
Go for it :) Personally, I'd want to know EXACTLY what oils or other
things are in it <_<

hmmm...this sounds similar to the oils I recently purchased at my local $1 store. I wouldn't trust it for use on hair or body. On the box that I got it also said for external use only. I've been using mine to scent my home....a few splashes on my lightbulbs makes my house smell lovely. I have vanilla, cherry, strawberry, coconut and lemon. I believe the oil is synthetic.
