I heard about it because they were talking about it on the radio on my way home. I must admit, I don't see what all the hype is about him.

HEY FITTY...GET OVA YASELF, DAHLING!

How does this man keep a straight face lauding his music as being for the "streets", while deriding just about EVERYONE else in hip hop for being soft and poppy.

Oh, so I guess "Candy Shop" is for your thugs in the street, huh? How many of them want to "lick your lollipop" Mr. Cent? Taking your shirt off all the dang time must be for your homies too, right? Can someone let him in on a little secret? "In Da Club" was one of the biggest POP hits of the year. Notice that he'll clown everyone else that has worked with Ja Rule EXCEPT for those that are more powerful than him - namely Ms. Lopez.

I was waiting for Sway to ask, "Does not having a father make you realize the importance of spending time with your son?" because 50 blatantly said that he barely even sees the kid.

He does seem to be a fairly prolific speaker, and I'll give him that. Sad to say that I even have to, but compared to the way most rappers speak, 50 Cent is a worldclass orator.

Man watching that grated my nerves in the worst way...he is so corny. It's ridiculous. Childish. Waging war against anyone who collarborates with Ja Rule...come on now 50...can you say playground antics?

And he was so nonchalant when he talked about not seeing his son...that pissed me off. Like because he's rich he doesn't have to be there as long as his money is.

He just takes himself a little too seriously and its comical because he really believes his own hype.

He must smoke that good stuff, cause he is crazy!

The stuff he was saying was so out of control, I think he has a death wish.

I am ashamed, but I find him very physically attractive, face and all. His personality is a complete turnoff.

ps. why did he make me think of George Bush when he was saying that crazy stuff about crushing enemies....

If he such a hot rapper as, he claims, why don't he invest in some new teeth? Heck, I would even allow a gold grill, just get rid of the buck teeth. He hating on Ja Rule and both of em look like monkeys. 50 look like a silver back baboon, and Ja Rule looks like Curious George. Dang, I swear he is so full of himself, but then again it might just be the bananas making him feel full.

Fifty is such a punk ***. I can't believe him dissin Fat Joe and Jada because they did a song with Ja. WHO CARES? The song is hot. They are from New York. They tryna make money like him! And Nas is gonna let him have it (if he even gives a damn, cuz Nas has nothing to prove; although Fifty did call his wifey a b*tch)

Is that even intelligent! Attacking everyone that works with Jarule?
Cause "They chosen sides"
People who don't even know 50cents or grow up in his "hood" or even knew about his "beef"
So what does that mean. Is he not going to work with the accountants, record executes, A&R folks who may jump ship and work for his record company because they worked with Jarule, Worked at his Rec company or did some type of business that had to do with him or associated with him?
Thats ignorant but hes not that stupid. Like someone mentioned why doesn't he play that s---t with JLO, is it because she's more powerful than he is?
Question? Does that mean he's going to send back the money to the folks who paid for his album whom also bought a jarule album and any other artist who associated with him?
I THINK NOT!

i think game and 50 are beefin because game didn't want to acknowledge 50 wrote most/all of his tracks. or he wanted it to seem like he (game) wrote more than he really did. i'm not sure. i remember hearing game on i think angie martinez's show talking about writing, and then later 50 on ed lover's show talking about "why is he frontin like i didn't write songs for him" with young buck and lloyd banks hyping/swelling 50's head. but, the last thing i've heard is they dropped game. . .which is kinda sad.

From a business view it was actually very smart. Us talking about him, Jada and Fat Joe making dis records about him is exactly what he wanted. People are going to eat up his latest album like candy b/c they're wondering what all the negative hype is about. Notice what he's been doing for the past few days: nothing. He hasn't made any comments since that Hot 97 interview on Monday and he doesn't have to b/c he has all the publicity he needs. 50 knew exactly what he doing and anyone who thinks that somehow he's just some childish rapper picking fights with everyone needs to learn how the music business works. People could actually hurt 50 more by shutting up and paying him no mind. However, all the huffing and puffing only fuels his fire. When will people learn  .

I dont know if I think it is all business though. Yes, I have heard of artist doing stuff like this right before an album comes out just to generate buzz and sales. However, in this interview, he talks about how he dissed R. Kelly right before R. Kelly performed at a concert. I dont follow him like that, so I dont know if there was an album due out back then. But that was just childish and immature. Dissing R. Kelly because he is associated with Ja Rule and Ashanti. If you he has beef with him, let it be because of something that R. Kelly (or anyone else) did to him personally, not because he/they are associated with someone he doesnt like. He even admitted that he is going after anyone associated with them. That is childish no matter what the motive is.

At one point do you just rely on your talent to sell records? When is enough enough? Gunshots and violence...c'mon. This is going too far.

I am not a Game fan, but I respect him for not getting involved with 50s decision to go after other artist. Jadakiss was interviewed and he said that the issue with Game really could have been handled differently, stating that 50 could have dealt with Game on a personal level as opposed to getting on the radio and saying all of the stuff he said. Fat Joe said that 50 is miserable and that he is mad at everyone except himself.

If I were the other artists, I wouldnt even respond to his madness! It would only add fuel to the fire. I wouldnt even waste my time or energy on him.

Just crazy!

I think 50 is just a troublemaker. If he keeps it up, he's going to alienate every other rapper in the game (pun intended).

I went to his website and when you click on a link, you hear the sound of gunfire.

He's just a thug - plain and simple.

He tried to start beef with Jay-Z, who I must say is a true businessman as well as a gentleman. Jay didn't nourish 50's gangsta ego so he just took back seat and went along for the ride.

I vote to send 50 to IRAQ :pointlaugh:

I have never personally heard of or seen anyone who bought a rap album because of the artist's "beef" or childish, on-going drama with another rapper. Everyone I know is too busy living their own lives and wouldn't waste their time or money on grown men picking fights with eachother over stupid ish. Is it entirely impossible that these people have genuine fans? I think so. My curiousity would never cause me to plunk down close to twenty dollars on a man I know does not give two damns about me and I know many, many people who feel the same.

I know how the music business works and I still think he is childish. He gets publicity, but publicity does not always translate into huge record sales. This could backfire on him and make him look dumber than he already appears. And, um, what controversy did he have before when he released his first album? Not much. He was simply a protege of Eminem. That made him more interesting to some, but controversial? Not really.

I think 50 is garbage and he needs to calm down. I also think he just needs a hug.
