Actor Christian Slater has been arrested in Manhattan, N.Y., for alleged sexual harassment, CNN reported.
Video showed a handcuffed Slater being taken from a home and placed into a police cruiser Tuesday after accusations that he sexually harassed a woman on the street.
Slater yelled to reporters, "I didn't do anything."
A woman who called police said she had been attacked while walking, CNN reported. The 35-year-old actor is accused of grabbing the woman while she was walking. New York Police Sgt. Mary Doherty told CNN that Slater was "intoxicated at the time."
He has reportedly been charged with third degree sexual abuse and is expected to be arraigned Tuesday morning.
This is not Slater's first run-in with the law. . In August 1997, Slater was arrested by Los Angeles police and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of battery. Charges were filed after he assaulted a girlfriend while intoxicated, CNN reported. Slater was sentenced to three months behind bars, but was released after 59 days for good behavior.
The actor was also arrested in West Hollywood, Calif., in 1989 after allegedly leading sheriff's deputies on a car chase. Internet Movie Database reported that a police spokeman said Slater crashed into a telephone pole and kicked a police officer before trying to escape over a fence. He faced several charges from that alleged incident.
IMDB reported that Slater was also arrested in 1994 for bringing a gun on a plane. Slater has starred in several films, including "Windtalkers," "Very Bad Things," "Interview with the Vampire," "Heathers" and "Young Guns II."
