I watched an interesting program last night about different places around the country(US). PBS (http://www.pbs.org/previews/unusual_buildings/)
It got me to wondering about all the places that I could visit just for the novelty of it. Most of these places aren't huge mega centers like Disney or Six Flags but still serve as entertainment areas. Or just interesting places in general.
This place for instance,Wonderworksonline.com (http://www.wonderworksonline.com/), I had no idea it even existed. But I do intend to make a trip there sometime in the near future.
What I want to know is what is your local or hometown attraction? Where is it and what is so special about it?
