I am open to driving. Have you found anywhere in Ohio that does natural hair. I am from Charlotte and I would hate to have to drive back to NC just to get my hair colored (not bleached) and twisted.
I live near Akron.

Please Advise.

I went buy the Akron salon on three different occasions and no one was there. I talked to two of their clients that were waiting in the parking lot. They said she did an okay job, but since she is the only one around that is who they go to, then they were like she always runs late. I will call the other ones. Thanks

Thanks for posting this link nappylicious, I live in Toledo and needless to say there are no natural salons here and I get tired of explaining what two strand twists are :doh. So I will definetly check this place out I see they have a shop in Detroit.

I live in the Sandusky area and I've found someone. I haven't actually tried her services yet, but I've seen her work. I saw a women in Walmart with some really nice twists. I asked her who did her hair and she told the lady's name and number then preceded to dig through her purse 'til she found me her business card (I thought that was nice). Her card says:

I went to the African Braids place in Detroit. The style was very pretty and didn't take very long. They specialize in all sorts of beautiful braided styles. My only complaint is that I'm tenderheaded and they made no effort to adjust their routine for me when I told them that. :doh They can be very rough on the head. I got a braided style from them last summer.

Has anyone tried the salon in Sandusky yet? I think that might be closer to me...
