I updated my album a little....just wanted to share.

ETA: forgot to say my 3 year anniversary is this month the 26th YAY!!!

that bun is BEAUTIFUL, Fauryn! it wasn't pinned up, was it? it looks like you curled it and then styled it in a loc puff, or was it something different? beautiful updates. i especially like the sepia pic.

I did the bun just like I do the coils...only difference is I started with the ponytail on top of my head...

I agree with Fansia, you have always been an inspiration...when I first started my locs, I used to look at your album..and it gave me something to look forward to!

Your hair has me speechless. I can&#39;t even articulate how your hair makes my heart sing!

But I was wondering, what makes it hurt? Do you think there is a modified bun that could be done that won&#39;t hurt? Was it the weight of the hair? Were they coiled too tight? I hate to think this style is unattainable without pain...

Girl I don&#39;t even know...I did this style once before, and it hurt, but not like this time....

I must have twisted it too tight or something. I&#39;ll probably try it again over the weekend or something. I&#39;d just hate to sit and do it if I can only wear it for a day due to the pain.... Maybe the elastic band underneath the bun was too tight too...I don&#39;t know.

I love the flat twists and bantu knots style. :heart I think I would like to "borrow" that as one of my summer time styles. 8) By that time I should have just a bit more length for it. I also think the bun was really nice too. :thumbsup

It very might have been the elastic band, if it was a brand new one...those are the worst! You never feel the pain right away but in 30minutes or so, you know there is something wrong.
