I have searched high and low...where oh where can a sister buy some barley(pearl)?

I don't mind ordering them online if I HAVE to.

Thanks

Health food and gourmet food stores. Do you have Whole Foods, Zagaras, or Traders Joes where you live?

Just curious, what are you going to do with the barley?

I got a recipe from cooking light magazine.

Baked Barley with Mushrooms and Caramlized Onions
I will make it with some shrimp recipe also from cooking ligh mag.
Also I have been dying to try some type of barley soup.

Thanks LotsofLocs, I tried one health food store on my way home but they don't carry it. I will try the Pathmark in the "other" neighborhood. They should carry it "over there" as they always carry healthy food "at that location" and not the location by "my" area.....

you should also be able to find barley in any large supermarket in section where dried beans are sold.

Thanks...I never thought to check in the beans section. I always go to the rice section for some reason.
