I find that I have fallen into a pattern... I wear my fro out for about a month then go back to two-strands.

Me? I beena wearing the same flat twist bun all summer long so I suppose that, for the moment, is my signature style. Every time I restyle after I shampoo, I try to part it differently in the top, and as of late, all the parts radiate from the center of my forehead. To change up a bit more, I've been looking for different accessories to hold the bun just to dress it up and give a little different look.

I spend 2 weeks in twists and another 2 in braids. I may do a week with a braidout but for some reason never a twistout.

For that twistout, I used my infamous Blue Magic grease! :D
I left my twists in for a week before unravelling them. This twistout lasted for a week before it started turning into a chunky fro.
Btw, your flat twist bun style is beautiful!

Thank you! My first ones weren&#39;t that great either. I could do gorgeous ones on my niece and my mom, but that did not initially translate to having the ability to do them well on myself. It took awhile to figure out hand placement and how to grab my hair to make the twist. Also, parting my hair and holding it out of the way was another challenge I faced. You can you those flat clips to hold the hair out of your way when you&#39;re twisting...that REALLY helped me. Just keep trying. You&#39;ll get it and when you do, I wanna see!
