Genuine Microsoft Software

Does anyone else all of a sudden get these Microsoft alerts about genuine software?

I go to the website, but I don't see anything free to click on to either check or download 'the real thing.' Speaking of which, as far as I know, everything is genuine. MS Windows came on the computer I bought from Dell a few years ago.

Ever since I&#39;ve gotten these alerts, I can&#39;t access MSN Messenger, Hotmail through Internet Explorer, or Yahoo Jukebox. It&#39;s kinda frustrating. <_<

Can anyone offer any help? Thanks! :)

i can&#39;t offer any help, but my in-laws get the same notice on their computer. i hope you can get some assistance.

It finally occured to me today to just do a system restore back to the date back before MS did those updates and that worked, in case anyone was needing help too.
