Sister Locks

Well, I am in the transition stage of growing my hair out.

I was looking at different ways to style my hair. I am not sure if I just want to go ahead and get dreads, or perhaps another natural style.

As I was browsing this site I came upon some pictures where the women had sister locks. I like these, but what are they?

some look like twist and some look like braids
are they permanent?
do they stay
whats the difference from dread locks.

the look depends on a lot of things like hair texture, length of time loced, etc.

Sisterlocks are very small dreadlocks that are started using a particular parting and locing pattern.

Sisterlocks are cool :thumbsup When I originally began to make my transition, I pondered the possibility of getting them. I have gone to the websites and read good information about them, but I decided to go another route. I have a friend with Sisterlocks and she curls them with a curling iron ;-) and enjoys them more than the locs she started with comb twists. They are just a little to thin for me.

finally available here in Holland, Italy and (not totally sure but also) Germany.
