Go here eightbucks.org (http://www.eightbucks.org/). Bill's trying to raise money eight bucks at a time.

The museum in Fredericksburg is estimated to cost 200 million dollars and has been in the works for more than a decade.

There's also a video contest.

I can spare eight bucks for sure.

National Slavery Museum? A museum featuring the time of slavery in America?
I would think a museum about African culture would be less redundant (if the museum is going to feature what I think it is now). I would like to see the money go to a school or something...
do you have any more information about the museum itself?

Why we need a slavery museum? We already have one. It is called the DuSable Museum of Chicago. That is why no one went into it, it was so depressing. Therefore, the added a new building to house modern Afro-american art to attract people to go in it.

I don't go to a museum to get depressed. I go to be inspired. If I want to know what slavery looks like I can watch some old slave movies for $3 at Blockbuster and I am not even going to do that.
