THE 10 MOST UNWANTED: #5
Glycerin and glycerin type derivatives
COSMETIC INGREDIENTS
YOU SHOULD AVOID

Glycerin is a very common ingredient, but is totally misunderstood. Originally, glycerin was developed to prevent cosmetics from drying out.

But then someone told you that glycerin was a great moisturizer for the skin. And soon, everyone believed it.

Like propylene glycol, glycerin is found in virtually every skin cream and lotion you can find in the market. And every day, year after year, people rub it into their hair, scalp, face and body.

The truth is, sometimes glycerin can help to moisturize dry skin and hair - but it often does so by drawing moisture from the deeper skin layers to rehydrate the surface.

Obviously, this is like drying the hair & skin from the inside out! By sacrificing the moisture deep in the skin, you are placing the long term health of skin in jeopardy.

In the salon or at home, where hot styling tools and harsh shampoos already cause dryness and damage to the hair, glycerin should always be avoided because of its potential to pull out moisture.

i'm not saying that what that web site said was false but did you catch the little hints about buying their products in each one saying how this and this is bad for the hair and Mastey products can fix that and how Mastey products are perfect for this. They also have a whole chain of products that some aren't eve related; like hair care and wieght loss. Mastey products promise the "perfect body" AND "beautiful hair"?
