Street Trends: Everyday People Looking Cool/hot

Although I think the style files are a nice idea, I think its time to give the little people ie random folk on the streets some props for being trendsetter and looking cool. Celebrities have stylist, they get free clothes, basically they have all the time, support and money in the world to look they way they do. It is a requirement for their jobs after all.

What about everyday people that manage to look just as good without all those tools on hand to them?

The kind of fashion I enjoy is the type that makes me go :icon_thinkerg: you can see that they took a chance with their style and they are expressing themselves. I sometimes find that celebrities are a little too considered in their dress sense for fear of being on a worst dressed list somewhere to be trendsetters.

So here goes: So they are not all sistas, and some of you might not like the outfits but I thought it would be a a cool idea... :)

i'm tired of "matchy matchy" clothes. lookin at them folks most of them layer (cuz its cold for one) but they wear whatever feels good and looks good TO THEM! its like- they dont try too hard and it comes of being flyy- and i love that!

Well.. I dunno.. I mean, some people will know her as the girl from "coconut twins". I know her from her designs and being on MySpace. Maybe in the retro scene.. Living in London you see celebs all the time.. when I worked in retail it was an everyday occurance and after a while you&#39;d get bored.

As for Japanese fashion, for the most part I found that japanese girls buy fashion mags and duplicate what they find there. You know some fashion is strictly for the mags, but they would copy it anyway :lol: High heels and leg warmers in July...ummm heyall naw. I didn&#39;t live on mainland so it may be different there. From what I witnessed first hand Okinawans&#39; style wasn&#39;t anything original.
