I'm not sure that this is what you are looking for, but I turned these up.

National Geographic seems to be the best source for these images. There is also a book that will be released soon about tribal beauty, but I can't remember the name nor find a link.

Those are some very informative articles tahmin, thanks for taking the time :)

@nottyfreedom, good question to ask no doubt, but I thought that Egyptians/Kemetians heavily rimmed their eyes with kohl to protect it from the sun *shrug*, didn't realize or stop to think that the application itself had any “spiritual” meaning. Now if you asked the same question in regards to Native Americans or other African sects/tribes etc. then my initial response would have been different.

However on a more sentimental note I do make sure to rim (at the least) my upper eyelid with black kohl only as part of my everyday face in "observance" if you will. My intentions during application are my own…i.e. bless my eyes to see truth (and what not) or Het-Heru/Hathor/Osun issues etc. I suppose you could also look into the different eyes of Horus and find your reasoning during application from there.

Not to knock what you wish to do, but I think focusing more on and routinely applying some of the spiritual aspects of the Kemetians would be more beneficial to your spirit then focusing so heavily on outward adorations. Forgive me if you feel my last comment was out of line…I am not trying to offend.

Hope you find what you are seeking
Peace

peace jacura...thanks for the input. no offense taken.

i am definitely interested and do practice and hold dear the spiritual aspects of Khemetic spirituality...i was just particularly interested in outer adornments because i enjoy symbolism and creativity. Also i was just using the Black Egyptians as a reference point so you all would have an idea of what i was asking for.
