Now What

I haven't had a perm in over 2 years. I wash my hair, while it's still wet I condition and twist the hair. Once it's dry, I undo the twists and over time my hair fills out and I continue with this until I can't stand it. usually 2-3 weeks.

With this method I have noticed the texture of my hair has changed along with major growth and no split ends. The strands themselves are thicker. If I blow dried my hair it would be shoulder length maybe a little longer.

I am now thinking that I would like to start the Loc process. How would I go about this. I don't know if I have to cut it off but that isn't a concern should I need to do this.

I am looking for advice and direction.
