I Bc'ed!

Hi Everyone,

I don&#39;t usually post but I just had to share my transition story! My journey started in August 07, my plan was to transition for a year. I started out with braid-outs, then I was bunner :) then eventually began to get a bunch of lc&#39;s and flat.iron it straight <_< (I know that&#39;s bad). This weekend I got so tired of fighting with the two textures, especially with Florida&#39;s humidity, I picked up the scissors and before I knew it, I had a cute fro :D My boyfriend thought I lost my mind but he loves it!

Thanks to all of the posters on this site for the encouragement! I wanted to add some pics but I couldn&#39;t figure out how to do it.

CONGRATS GIRL!!!!!! I want to see pics! But, if you can&#39;t figure out how to load them, it&#39;s kool because I still haven&#39;t figured it out myself :lol: I want to BC in about 6 months, but I don&#39;t know if I can wait. It&#39;s been 6 months already in my transition and I&#39;m getting the serious itch, lol.

congrats on the BC----- i did the same thing last week and people thought i was insane!!

but they didnt kno that i was insane for tryna deal wit the two textures as long as i did...

i loveee my BC and im glad to hear that u love urs too!!!!

hmmm yeah i never heard of that product before....but i have heard of Cantu Sheabutter products.. they have a line of basically everything that u need ta tame ya naps...i havent tried it yet, but its first thing on my list when i get my paycheck :-)

but im sooo ready for somemore growth....

have u heard any tips about growth jcoleman?

No, I haven&#39;t heard any tips on growth, since I transitioned so long I had a lot of new growth and my fro is pretty big so I&#39;m not too concerned about that just yet, at least until I get used to styling it at this length.

Congrats on your BC, OP!!! I love that you did it yourself - that&#39;s gangster!!

Here&#39;s what y&#39;all need to do to upload pix:

* Get a PhotoBucket.com account (it&#39;s free)
* Load your pictures into there (you can send them from your cell phone)
* Click "edit" above the picture and change the size (if necessary) so your pic is not ginormous (I suggest using "Message Board" or "Website" size)
* Click the html coding that&#39;s next to "IMG Code"
* This will automatically copy the coding
* Then come onto NP, open a new post or reply and right click & paste or press CTRL & V to paste the pic
