Challenges - does anyone still do them?
Challenges can be a good way of driving yourself to a healthier head of hair - and to see how determined (or not) you can be to the natural hair journey. There have been challenges for No-Comb, Leave It Alone, Protective Styling, and I've done all of them. If you have started self-challenging yourself to improve your hair's condition, I'd like to know what it is!
Re: Challenges - does anyone still do them?
Currently, I'm doing protecting styling to my hair. I have my stylist to braid my hair and wear wigs. Previously, I went from being natural for over 10 years to a relaxer and my hair started breaking. As a result, I went back natural and I tried wearing my natural hair straight, but created heat damage/breakage. Therefore, I did another chop and I'm wearing my natural hair braided and it's past my ear now. My goal is to grow my hair shoulder length in year time frame.

I made the 10 year loc challenge https://www.nappturality.com/forums/...61#post2769761 But apart from that I don't do any. I'm kind of lazy on the hair front, always have been. :( but I'm now hwaded for 12 years come May.

Well, i just stay locked. This go 'round I only wash and spritz with rose spritz and if needed, jojoba oil to moisturize. less is best. i also use hand mittens to dry and a bit of hair dryer action if needed-no more damp locks for me. I've shaved and opened up my locks, so far no build up and it's a win!
