Last year's garden was a bust. I was still in mourning mode (my father passed in March last year), so I wasn't jazzed about growing veggies...BUT I intend to get back on track.
So...what are you planning to grow this year??

Now that school is out, back to the garden! Today I'm pulling the rest of the weeds, then till the dirt. Maybe tomorrow or Tuesday, I'll go purchase seeds and transplants.
I feel that this year, my head is in a better place, so I'm hoping the garden will do well!
So...what are you growing???
Post your garden pictures from this past year or your ideas for next year!
I am a complete rookie and typically outsource the gardening. Last night, I had a dream about weeding my garden with my grandmother (who's deceased). I'm sure that dream had another meaning, but I woke up also thinking about what I want to do with my garden next spring!
I don't know anything about gardening either. I bought a house last year and there was a mature orange tree in the backyard so DH and I decided to plant an clementine/orange tree and a lemon tree this past spring. I was told we can't eat the fruit for the first two years. I'm anxious but also thinking since I have a decent sized backyard I could plant something else... Then again I always kill just about every plant I've ever had...
I think I'll start with cucumbers and tomatoes in pots?? I dunno, I'm anxious to make our new house a home with plenty of greenery inside and out! Where are the pics ya'll??? I'll definately have some before/afters to share as I go along, excited to finally have a life and able to do things outside of work, I'm giddy!!
LTNS Gardeners!!!
The hubs and I weeded the last part of my raised vegetable bed this morning. I'm really late this year, due to 'life'! But summer's here and I have the time I need to get back to it.
We need to talk gardening again!
Right now I have a small plant of lucky bamboo... it grows ok...
