No one in my family, I do have friends who have had loved ones taken by the virus.
My friend Nanny, lost her ex MIL in a nursing facility to C19 about eight weeks ago. Her daughter’s grandmother and I also met and worked with her ex husband several years ago so I got to know him independent of my friendship with her.
A neighbor stopped to talk with me several months ago as well and told he had lost his mom as well. Don’t know his name.
And one of my dear, good friends Lydia has lost her brother to the virus as well. Prayers up for all of them.
I don't have any relatives who were taken directly by this virus, but it has made some relatives very sick, some hospitalized. My father crossed over in June and I am convinced that the lockdown contributed to his ill health. He went downhill very fast after having to stop his regular fitness routine involving going to the gym every couple of days.
It also prevented me from getting home to his services, and that has changed me forever. It's tough.
What you are experiencing is indescribable Dee. I keep you lifted. The best part...your dad is with you all times everywhere now. He's greater.
There's many in my network experiencing positive results and death. I prayerfully testify Psalms 91. Im witnessing, yet it hasn't touched my home. And, I stand on this.
When things happen that you cannot understand, there is a reason for every occurrence. God knows best.
Updated to say I had 3 relatives in SC afflicted and in the hospital. As far as I know they have all recovered to some extent.
My sister told me my nephew got covid .. He is 15 years old Then I had a cousin die of a brain tumor she was 40years old left behind 3 young kids . That kind of hit me hard as I am out of the country and do to travel restrictions i could not get back to the funeral. It was not a covid case. Hope when this all dies down I will be able to travel soon and go see family and loved ones . Positive vibes for everyone affected by this ordeal stay safe
I am so sorry to read this. What a tragedy for you. I'm also out of the country and could not get back for my Dad's funeral because of the mess that is the USA. I'm still going through anguish and anger over the selfishness I see in my country. I don't think I will ever get over this. My heart goes out to you @Meerah95
My condolences to all of you who have lost family and friends and to those who have been ill. The world is an interesting place right now.
