I love anything with peppermint in it! These days I keep it simple with a homemade oil sheen.
I have used Shea moisture deep treatment masque as a leave in for a long time. At the moment I only use water, jojoba oil and aloe Vera gel.
I'm still pretty simple. I continue to co-wash with either Tressame or Aussie. I was as needed with Argan Oil Cream of Nature. I use organic coconut oil followed by cantu cream to seal it in. That's about it.
The majority of the year, I wear my hair pinned up. When I do wear it loose (mostly in the summer), I use one of the curl products by Miss Jessie, skipping the coconut oil and cream.
I absolutely love this range from Sheamoisture: http://www.sheamoisture.com/SuperFru...ix_p_1831.html anybody else try this?

I like Dr. Woods Pure Castile Soap in Peppermint. Really good stuff. As for conditioner, it's a love hate thing. My hair is brittle and the only conditioner that really addresses that is Tigi Bed Head Moisture Maniac. My hair loves that conditioner but I do not love the smell. Fruity, but it's the only conditioner that works.
I honestly lived on the Cantu leave-in for a good year or two. It's cheap, gets the job done, and the smell grew on me (I actually like it). If I wanted a more defined look (my hair is a TWA now), I combined the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and KCCC. For shampoo and conditioner, I used pretty much whatever I liked: Garnier, Matrix Biolage, Shea Moisture, etc. Deep conditioners were Shea Moisture ONLY because they're that damned good (all the ones I tried at least).
Right now my favorite is John Masters Organics lavender and avocado intensive conditioner. It's expensive but worth every penny! Shea Moisture's Curling Gel Souffle is a close second.
