I was using Paul Mitchell the conditioner which worked BUT I just tried Aveda Elixir which was better. Really lightweight yet still effective (I was surprised as my hair usually likes heavy, creamy conditioners), a little goes a long way and won't weigh down your shake and go.

I use the Aveda Elixir also. I really like it because you don't have to pile it on. Use a little and you are good to go!

Another vote for Aveda Elixir It's one of the best I've ever used. I also like Profectiv Breakfree leave-in (it's creamy) and Aussie Hair Insurance leave-in (it's a spray).

You could also make your own by mixing about 3-4 teaspoons of your favorite conditioner with water in a spritz bottle too.

Hi all I'm new to this website and I've posted my personal hair journey on the introductions board! I've recently started using Giovanni Organic Hair Care products: shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner and leave-in. The leave-in is great and is lightweight - it's called the Weightless "Walking" Treatment. I highly recommend Giovanni because the ingredients are ALL natural and it really leaves your hair feeling great. My hair has never been so soft in its natural state. I am using the no-poo method but I use their tea tree shampoo to clarify. If anyone's interested in the product, I purchased it at Whole Foods. Good luck with your hair care regime and I hope to learn more tips from this great website!

I don't use a leave in conditioner anymore, but when I did I used CD's Hair Milk. I also used a homemade spritz of waterm, glycerine, and conditioner.

Another Vote for Aveda Elixir! It works great. I used to use Paul Mitchell's "The Conditioner," but I like the Elixir better for all the reasons the ladies stated above

I highly recommend Infusium 23's Moisturizing Leave-In. I ran out of this product for about a week and I could definitely tell the difference! It works wonders for me. I also use ORS Jojoba oil after I've had the leave in on for awhile to "lock" in the moisture. This way my hair stays soft and moisturized all day. HTH!
